Hello, lovely people!

This is my very first blog post — cue confetti, a celebratory coke, and at least one biscuit — and I’m so chuffed you’re here.

I’ve taken a bit of well-earned time away from writing lately, but not from creating. I've been happily tangled up in character art (pictures and videos galore), and tinkering away at this very website you’re visiting now. I’ve loved every messy, magical minute of it — there’s something so joyful about seeing characters take shape visually. And of course, I’ve also been soaking up summer with my family, which has been equal parts sun-kissed and snack-filled.

But here’s the part I’ve been mulling over for a while now: what to write next. I’ve been torn between diving fully into DRIVEN, my high-speed, high-heat racing romance (featuring the deliciously stubborn Dominic and fiercely brilliant Faye), or beginning my four-book shifter romance series that’s been prowling in my brain for a while.

In the end, I've decided to continue building DRIVEN first. It’s a story very close to my heart, and after turning down an offer, I’m excited to take full creative control and bring it to life in my own way.

So that’s the plan! For now, at least. I’ll keep you updated as I go — the missteps, the milestones, and everything in between.

Thank you, truly, for being here and cheering me on. This self-publishing journey feels a bit like standing at the edge of a racetrack with a pen instead of a helmet, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you'd like sneak peeks, exclusive artwork, and first access to new releases, you’re most welcome to join my newsletter — I’d be thrilled to have you in the crew.

With love, pixels, and plot twists,

Maya
